Terms & Conditions for Peer-to-Peer Learning

Terms & Conditions for Peer-to-Peer Learning

2.1 Acceptance of Terms

By opting into the 3MTT Peer-to-Peer (P2P) learning model, you (“the Fellow”) agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions, as well as any relevant 3MTT program policies. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not participate in the P2P learning model.

2.2 Consent to Participation

  • Fellows voluntarily consent to participate in the P2P model, understanding that it involves collaborating with other fellows online and, where applicable, in community spaces.

  • Fellows acknowledge that Peer Leads and CMs are facilitators, not professional mentors, and do not bear liability for personal outcomes or learning results.

2.3 Code of Conduct

  • Fellows must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity is strictly prohibited.

  • No Fellow shall misuse the P2P model to solicit personal gain, promote commercial products, or engage in activities unrelated to the 3MTT curriculum.

  • Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the Peer Group and possible suspension or expulsion from the 3MTT programme.

2.4 Confidentiality and Data Privacy

  • Fellows agree to protect the confidentiality of all proprietary content, peer submissions, and personal information shared within their group.

  • All personal data collected during registration or group activities will be handled in accordance with the 3MTT Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws.

  • Sharing private or sensitive information (e.g., personal addresses and phone numbers) is at your discretion and risk. The 3MTT programme is not responsible for misusing such information if voluntarily disclosed.

2.5 Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Fellows: Must complete assigned tasks, attend scheduled virtual meetings, and contribute actively to group discussions.

  • Peer Leads: Coordinate group interactions, track engagement, and communicate regularly with CMs. They are not paid employees of 3MTT and serve in a volunteer leadership capacity.

  • Community Managers: Provide oversight, address escalated issues, and ensure smooth operation of Peer Groups. They reserve the right to decide on group assignments and dispute resolutions.

2.6 Safety and Liability

  • The 3MTT programme is primarily a virtual initiative. Any physical meetups or interactions happen at the fellows’ discretion and risk. Fellows are encouraged to use official or approved community centres for group activities.

  • 3MTT, its partners, sponsors, and affiliates are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or other harm resulting from unauthorized or unsanctioned gatherings.

  • Fellows are solely responsible for maintaining the safety of their personal devices and information during virtual or in-person meetups.

2.7 Intellectual Property

  • All 3MTT-provided learning materials, including LMS content, video tutorials, and documentation, remain the intellectual property of 3MTT or its content partners.

  • Fellows retain the rights to their own creations (e.g., project work), but grant 3MTT the right to showcase or reference these submissions in marketing and reporting materials, with proper credit given.

2.8 Disciplinary Actions

  • 3MTT reserves the right to remove or suspend any Fellow or Peer Lead from the P2P model for breaches of these Terms & Conditions or any other guidelines set by the programme.

  • Depending on severity, disciplinary measures may include:

    1. Written warning or notice.

    2. Temporary suspension from the group or platform.

    3. Permanent removal from the P2P model or the 3MTT programme.

2.9 Amendments and Updates

  • 3MTT may update or amend these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in the programme, regulatory requirements, or other best practices.

  • Fellows will be notified of any significant changes via email or the LMS dashboard. Continued participation following such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.

2.10 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations applicable to the 3MTT programme.

  • All disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If unresolved, the matter may be referred to mediation or arbitration as deemed appropriate by the 3MTT team.
