Fellows: Your Guide to P2P Centers & Groups

Fellows: Your Guide to P2P Centers & Groups

Learn, Collaborate, and Grow TogetherPeer-to-Peer (P2P) Learning Centers and Groups are an essential part of the 3MTT program, designed to help fellows learn together, share knowledge, and support each other. If you are not assigned to an ALC, P2P groups ensure you still have access to structured learning.

1. What Are P2P Centers & Groups?

Since not all locations have Applied Learning Clusters (ALCs), P2P groups provide an alternative for hands-on learning through peer-led collaboration.

βœ… P2P Centers: Physical spaces where fellows meet for study sessions and mentorship.
βœ… P2P Groups: Virtual learning communities where fellows support each other online.

2. How Do P2P Groups Work?

Fellows are assigned to small learning groups (4–10 members), usually based on:
πŸ“Œ Skill track – Members share the same technical focus.
πŸ“Œ Location – Fellows are grouped within their local government area (LGA).

Each group has:
🎯 A Peer Lead – Coordinates sessions and tracks progress.
🎯 A Deputy Lead – Assists in organizing and motivating the group.

3. What Happens in a P2P Group?

Fellows in P2P groups:
🀝 Attend weekly virtual or in-person study sessions.
πŸ“’ Discuss challenges and find solutions together.
🎯 Work on group projects and practice exercises.
πŸ† Earn rewards through engagement and leaderboard rankings.

4. Benefits of P2P Learning

πŸš€ Faster Learning – Teaching and discussing topics improve understanding.
🀝 Stronger Community – Build friendships and professional networks.
🎯 Accountability – Stay on track with peer support and motivation.
πŸ›  Problem-Solving Skills – Work as a team to tackle challenges.

5. How to Get the Most Out of Your P2P Group

βœ” Actively participate in discussions and group activities.
βœ” Be consistent with meetups and assignments.
βœ” Help your peers by sharing resources and solutions.
βœ” Follow respectful communication guidelines to maintain a positive space.

6. P2P Group Leaderboards & Incentives

To encourage active participation, top-performing groups and individuals will be recognized through:
πŸ† National & State Leaderboards for outstanding engagement.
🎁 Rewards for top Peer Leads & Fellows based on learning progress.
