Responsibilities of ALC in a cohort

Learning Support

Ensure assigned Fellows complete weekly milestone tasks.
• Facilitate peer learning and mentorship sessions to encourage collaboration.
• Organise capstone projeer support sessions to guide Fellows in real-world applications.
• Commit a minimum of 4 hours per course for physical sessions and 2 hours per course for virtual learning.
 Develop at least one monthly group project for a national challenge.


Others

 Actively recruit Fellows for the program
 Showcase weekly activities on social media to enhance visibility
 Work towards achieving a 30% job placement target for Fellows
 Produce a cohort-based impact video and transformation stories (Top 5 Fellow stories)
 Submit weekly multimedia reports documenting engagement levels (Group picture of attendees for each session)


Facilitation & Expertise
 Engage facilitators with proven technical expertise and industry-recognised certifications /e.g..
Google, Microsoft, AWS, etc.)
 Mandatory orientation and training for facilitators
• Facilitate weekly milestone-based learning sessions that focus on applied skills.
Ensure facilitators provide real-time feedback on Fellow projects and assessments.
• Connect Fellows with guest experts and industry mentors for career insights.

Engagement & Reporting

 Submit weekly progress reports detailing Fellow performance, attendance engagement levels, and challenges.
 Actively track and intervene when Fellows fall behind in their milestone completion.
 Showcase ALC activities through multimedia updates on social media.
 Ensure 30% job placement for Fellows through direct partnerships and networking.

Infrastructure & Operations
 Maintain at least 50 functional learning devices per ALC to support Fellows. Required software/tools should bre pre-installed on devices
 Ensure steady internet access (10 Mbps min) and power supply to avoid learning disruptions
 Adhere to corporate compliance by maintaining CAC, NSITF, TIN, and valid financial documentation

Safety & Risk Management
• There should be clearly defined emergency response procedures
• First aid facilities should be present at all times
• Fire safety measures should be defined
